Privacy policy
Last updated 7 November 2026
This policy covers the MyAlmi app and this website. In short: the app keeps your journal on your phone, encrypted, and sends nothing about you anywhere.
The MyAlmi app
Where your data is
Everything you enter in MyAlmi — periods, symptoms, notes, vitamins and medicines, pill marks and settings — is stored only on your phone, in a database that is encrypted on the device. Its key is kept in the phone's secure keychain. If you add a profile photo, it stays on the phone too.
No account, no server
MyAlmi works without an account and without an internet connection. This release has no cloud sync and no server of ours: nothing you enter in the app is sent to us or to anyone else.
No ads, no tracking
The app shows no ads, sells no data and contains no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking tools that receive personal or health data.
Your age
The app asks only for your year of birth — never a full date — to apply the protections for younger users. If that year shows you are below the minimum age for your region (13, or 16 in the EU and EEA and when the region is unknown), the app stores nothing about you.
Reports and backups
A PDF report or an encrypted backup is created only when you ask for it, and it leaves the phone only when you share it yourself through the system share sheet, to the app or person you choose. A backup is protected by a password that only you know.
Reminders
Reminders are local notifications scheduled by your phone. They are off until you turn them on, and by default the lock screen never says what they are about. Nothing is sent to a server for them.
Home-screen widget
If you add the widget, it holds only a few lines prepared in advance — a day number, or an estimated range if you choose the detailed widget — in the app's private storage on the phone. It is never sent anywhere.
Tips
Tips are optional one-off in-app purchases, handled by the App Store or Google Play like any other purchase; they unlock nothing. The app sends nothing about you for a tip — no identifier, no profile and no health data. The store processes the payment under its own privacy policy. Tips are never offered to users under 18, and for them the app never contacts the store.
If you are under 18
Your journal stays on your phone. There is no account to create, there are no ads, and there are no analytics that receive your data. We keep only your year of birth, never your full birthday. Nothing leaves your phone unless you decide to share a report or a backup — for example with a parent or a doctor. Tips and purchases are not shown to you. If you are below the minimum age, the app saves nothing at all.
How to delete your app data
You can delete any entry in the app, or erase everything at once with Settings ▸ Reset app data. Removing the app from your phone also removes all of its data. Because we hold none of your app data, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.
Not a medical device
MyAlmi is not a medical device and not a method of contraception. Its forecasts are estimates. It does not diagnose or treat any condition; for questions about your health, speak to a doctor.
This website
What we collect
When you join the waitlist: your email address, the language you were reading the site in, and the moment you gave consent. Nothing else — no name, no phone number, and no cycle or health information.
Why we collect it
To send you one email when MyAlmi launches. We do not use your address for anything else, and we never sell or share it.
How we count visits
We count visits ourselves, on our own server, without an analytics company. A visit records the page, the language it was read in, the site that linked here, and which button or link was used. It never records your IP address, never sets a cookie, and never records anything you type. A random number marks one browser tab while it stays open and is gone when you close it.
Who holds it
Your data is held by [OPERATOR NAME].
How long we keep it
Until we have sent the launch email, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first.
How to have it deleted
Email us from the address you signed up with and we will delete it, along with every record derived from it. You do not need to give a reason. Every launch email also lets you unsubscribe.
Cycle and health information
This website stores no cycle, journal or health information of any kind. The app keeps your journal on your phone, as described above.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will publish the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
